Prop it like its hot: empowerment in personalizing your practice

Explore incorporating variations and modifications to meet yourself exactly where you are! Join Kendall & Amanda to consider how trusting our intuition might support developing confidence in making adjustments and customizing our practice in real time.

Mindfulness practices including yoga asana offer us time to slow down, connect with ourselves, tune into our body's signals, and develop awareness of sensations, a practice known as interoception. Modifications aren’t only useful to those of us with limited ability or during times of injury, rather they can be an incredible tool if utilized to thoughtfully bring ourselves into physical and energetic balance. Our needs can change from moment to moment, whether looking to bring in more ease and compassion, or effort and precision, modifications are an opportunity to meet ourselves right where we are. This workshop is intended for students and teachers as an opportunity to slow down, observe, tune into sensory awareness and practice responding skillfully.
